2026 Enhanced DTSPP: AI and cybersecurity preparation checklist

Government has announced an enhanced DTSPP providing matching support for wider SME adoption of AI and cybersecurity-related solutions. Detailed funding ratio, ceiling, eligible industries, solution requirements and application arrangements remain pending. E12 does not assess applications and does not guarantee approval.

What is already known

  • The original programme approved 8,799 SMEs.
  • The 2026 direction explicitly names AI and cybersecurity.
  • Detailed enhanced-round rules are still awaiting Cyberport / Government publication.

Preparation checklist

  1. Write one repeatable business outcome, not “we want to use AI”.
  2. Fix scope: setup, sources, permissions, logging, training, support.
  3. Confirm who reviews AI or security outputs.
  4. Inventory current website, email, messaging and security tools.
