AI assistants and search services may use public websites and other sources to find and understand organisations. Clear, current information helps describe what a business does and who it serves. Each service uses its own methods and chooses its own sources.
What E12 does
Structured company profiles
A consistent profile brings your company name, industry, location and published services together in one place.
Owner review and consent
Businesses can manage and review their information. E12 uses its existing publication and AI-discovery settings to decide which eligible information can be used for its AI matching and machine-readable outputs.
Public pages and structured information
Core profile information is available in the page HTML. Where permitted, structured data gives machines a consistent description of the business.
E12 AI matching
Buyers can describe a need and explore matching businesses whose eligible information is approved for E12 AI discovery.
What you control
1. Review the facts
Check your company name, location and service descriptions before publishing. Only provide information you are authorised to share.
2. Publish your profile
Choose the information to show on your public profile. Public pages can be read by people and crawlers.
3. Manage AI settings
Manage the existing AI-discovery option in your account. It controls eligible use by E12, and does not control what independent external services retrieve from public pages.
Current settings apply to the listing as a whole; they are not a separate AI permission for each field. You can edit your profile and revisit your settings as your business changes.
